How rooms work

Everyone sees everything

A room is one shared conversation. What you write goes to everyone in it, and people who join a bit later can scroll back through recent messages.

Your name, your choice

Type a name before you enter, or skip it and get a guest name like Anon#4KQ2. You can come back as someone else tomorrow.

Rooms come and go

The rooms on the board are always open. Rooms people create close once the last person leaves.

House rules

  • 18+ only.
  • No spam, links or selling.
  • No sexual content or harassment.
  • Don't share anyone's personal details, including your own.

Questions people ask in the lobby

Do I need an account?
No. Open a room and start typing. You can pick a name to show, or stay anonymous with a guest name.
Can I make my own room?
Yes. Type a name under "Start your own room" and you are in it straight away. Share the room with friends who are on VibeGroup at the same time.
Who can read what I write?
Everyone in the room, including people who join a little later, since rooms keep their recent messages. Treat it like talking in a public place.
How many people fit in a room?
Global Chat holds up to 2,000 people. The themed rooms hold up to 200 each.
What gets someone removed?
Spam, harassment, sexual content and anyone under 18. Global Chat screens every message before it is posted, and moderators can delete messages and block people in any room.
Is it free?
Yes, every room is free. It runs in your browser with nothing to install.
